One week before
- List every exam date, time, and room if you know it.
- Gather pens, ID, calculator, and any allowed materials.
- Make a realistic revision list — topics, not vague "study everything."
- Tell someone at home your exam schedule so they can support you.
Night before each exam
- Pack your bag. Lay out clothes. Charge your phone if needed for transport.
- Review summaries — do not pull an all-nighter unless you absolutely must.
- Set two alarms if mornings are hard for you.
- Write one encouraging line to yourself: "I prepared what I could."
Bloomly tip: If anxiety spikes at night, try writing your worries on paper and closing the notebook. You can return to them tomorrow.
Morning of the exam
- Eat something — even light food is better than nothing.
- Arrive early enough to settle, not so early that you spiral in the hallway.
- Read instructions slowly before you start writing.
During the paper
- Answer what you know first. Confidence builds momentum.
- If you freeze, pause, breathe, and move to the next question.
- Leave a few minutes to check names, numbers, and unfinished sections.
After the paper
Do not dissect every answer with friends if it wrecks your mood. Rest, hydrate, and focus on the next paper — not the last one.
